RapidArc™ technology exceeds the standard of care by treating patients in less than 2 minutes compared to other treatments currently used today that can take up to 40 minutes.

Keep in mind that an organ in the body moves constantly. In order for a treatment to be delivered accurately, targeting technologies must be employed seconds before the treatment beam is turned on. The longer the treatment beam is on, the higher the chance that some minor shifts in the position of the targeted area can occur. By using RapidArc™, the chance that part of the tumor will be moved out of the targeting beam’s area, or that healthy tissue will be affected, is drastically reduced. Less time spent under the beam improves performance, precision, and most importantly, patient satisfaction.


Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy:

RapidArc™ is a volumetric arc therapy that delivers a precisely sculpted 3D dose distribution with a single 360-degree rotation of the linear accelerator.
